Video: Watch stars of UFC's 'International Fight Week' face off – minus Conor McGregor

LAS VEGAS – Ahead of July’s International Fight Week, most of the stars of the week’s trio of fights converged on Las Vegas for a special news conference.

But as has been highly publicized this week, one of those stars was conspicuously absent now that he’s out of the landmark UFC 200: Conor McGregor.

That left one-time UFC 200 headliner Nate Diaz on the dais with no opponent yet, saying he intends to fight only McGregor, despite UFC President Dana White saying many times McGregor just will not be part of the card since he refused to take part in this week’s promotional activities.

But the event still featured a plethora of the stars of July’s big fight week answering questions from media members, then facing off for the cameras at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Check out the video above for face-offs between lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and challenger Eddie Alvarez; women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and challenger Claudia Gadelha; women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes; interim featherweight title challengers Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar; and heavyweights Travis Browne and Cain Velasquez.
