Video: Syndicate MMA fighters discuss 'TUF 23,' No. 9, including Cory Hendricks struggles, preview of the coaches' clash

LAS VEGAS – Syndicate MMA fighters Cory Hendricks, Jamie Moyle and Khalil Rountree were all selected for “The Ultimate Fighter 23,” and following Wednesday’s debut of the season’s ninth episode, there was plenty to discuss.

The latest season of the long-running reality series, which features strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk and rival Claudia Gadelha as head coaches, features a tournament with male light heavyweights and another with female strawweights.

Check out the above video as Hendricks, Rountree and Moyle discuss this week’s fight, where Team Claudia’s Kate Jackson handed Team Joanna’s Ashley Yoder a unanimous decision loss in the final women’s strawweight quarterfinal matchup.

They also discuss Hendricks’ neck injury, which he has been battling for the past few weeks and has cast a shadow of doubt about whether he’ll be able to remain in the competition for his upcoming semifinal fight.

Finally, the fighters preview The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale main event on July 8, which will see coaches Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha face off for the 115-pound belt.
